Classmate Sewing Carrier Pattern

The Classmate by Atkinson Designs is an easy to carry storage case for your sewing needs, including scissors, pens, thread, notions, etc.  There are lots of pockets to store all your sewing supplies and the finished size is 7" x 12" x 1" (closed) and 12" x 21" (open).

Materials Needed:

• Print fabric - 1/2 yard (medium size print, non-directional) for the outside layer and the pocket trim
• Lining - 1/2 yard (small, non-directional print that contrasts with the above)
• Contrast - 1/2 yard (Bold color print in tone on tone or tiny print) for binding and the handle
• Fusible Woven Interfacing - 2 1/3 yards (Pellon Shape-Flex)
• Soft & Stable - 12" x 21".  1/2 yard is enough to make two Classmates
• Zippers - (2) 14" long zippers
