Olivia Bag Pattern

The Olivia Bag Pattern by Around The Bobbin is an easy to make hobo style bag that has a cross body handle and is also fat quarter friendly! There are 2 sizes included with this pattern: A mini bag pattern which measures 8"H x 6"W x 3"D and the regular sized bag which measures 12 1/2"H x 10"W x 5"D.  Also included are templates to make the corners of this hobo style bag pattern.

Materials Needed:

• The Olivia Bag (Regular sized): Cotton quilting fabric, linens, or lighter weight decor fabric 42/44" recommended
• Fabric - 1 yard Main fabric
• 1/2 yard coordinating fabric
• Interfacing and interlining:
• 2 yards of 20/22" wide medium weight woven fusible interfacing such as Pellon SF101
• One 3/8" x 42" piece of cotton batting or felt to add body to the handle
• 1 small package of Soft and Stable or 1/4 yard of Pellon extra firm stabilizer
• The Mini Olivia Bag:  Same fabric as above
• 1/3 yard Main fabric or 1 fat quarter
• 1/4 yard coordinating fabric or 1 fat quarter
• Interfacing and Interlining
• 3/4 yard of 20/22" wide medium weight woven fusible interfacing, such as Pellon SF101
• 1/2" x 42" piece of cotton batting or felt to add body to handle
• 1 small package of Soft and Stable or 1/4 yard of Pellon Extra firm stabilizer
