Tablet Tote Pattern

The Tablet Tote Pattern by Jerilynn Lijewski has instructions for a padded tote for your tablet that can be embellished or not!  This pattern has a zippered compartment for a power cord or earphones and a handy strap that can be tucked inside the bag.  Finished size is 9"W x 10"H.

Materials Needed:

• 3/8 yard fabric for outside and strap
• 3/8 yard fabric for lining and tabs
• 1/4 yard fabric for binding
• 1 1/2" x 42" fusible interfacing for strap
• At least a 12" nylon zipper (not metal or heavyweight)
• 5" piece of hook & loop tape
• 25" x 9" piece of polyester foam such as Soft and Stable By Annie
• 2 large swivel lobster clasps, 1 1/2" each
• Additional materials if using decorative stitch:
• 10" x 26" piece of fusible interfacing if embellishing outer fabric with stitches
• Fine line chalk marking tool
• Thread for decorative stitching
