Quilt-As-You-Go Diaper Bag Pattern

The Quilt-As-You-Go Diaper Bag pattern by Virginia Robertson is a roomy tote bag with instructions for a divider and lots of pockets! This is the perfect diaper bag or use as a craft tote. This bag design uses a quilt as you go technique with 2 and 1/2" strips of fabric for the front and back. There are sturdy double handles and a button and loop fastener. Finished size is 17"W x 11"H x 7"D. Included with this pattern is a corner cutting template and a pocket flap template.

Materials Needed:

• 14 to 24 strips of fabric that are 2 and 1/2" wide
• Handle and bottom - 1/2 yard
• Lining - 1 and 1/3 yard
• Pockets - 1/4 yard
• Fusible batting
• 1 and 1/2 yards of stiff interfacing
• Optional: 1/4 yard of Fast-2-Fuse (heavy interfacing) for the bottom
