Esmeralda Bag Pattern

The Esmeralda Bag by Kori Turner-Goodhart of Olive Grace Studios includes sewing instructions and full color pictures for a bag that was designed to be floppy and functional! The adjustable button strap makes it a great cross-body or shoulder bag and the back pocket fits your smart phone perfectly. You get two sweet sketches and the whole alphabet to monogram and personalize your littke patch for embellishing your bag! The width of this bag is approximately 14".

Materials needed:

• 5/8 yd Linen - top of bag, strap, tech pocket & closer straps
• 1/2 yd Lining - large or fun print
• 1/4 yd Cotton (small print) - middle band & inside of tech pocket
• 1/2 yd Muslin - for interior lining
• 1/2 yd Woven - bottom of bag, strap & closer straps
• FAT 1/8 Linen or White on White Cotton - for stitchery
• 3" x 3" Presto Sheer - this is a very thin interfacing for the back
• Recommend Cosmo Floss and Genziana Wool Thread
• COSMO Seasons: only need 1 skien - #8017 or #8057 depending on your color palette
• Old buckle
• 10 buttons - 1" or 3/4"
• Neat Brooch for decoration (optional)
