The Seashore Tote Pattern

The Seashore Tote Pattern by Kristine Poor of Poorhouse Quilt Design includes sewing instructions and templates for creating a roomy tote featuring 3 different applique designs, inner slip pockets, and a large zipper pocket.  Finished size is 16" H x 20" W x 7" D.

Materials needed:

• Fabric - Scallop Shell and Anchor - outer tote
  • 1 1/4 yd
• Fabric - Compass Star - outer tote
  • 5/8 yd for top
  • 1/2 yd for bottom
• All Views:
  • 1 yd lining
  • 36" x 45" fusible fleece
  • 1 yd firm fusible interfacing
  • 3/4" magnetic snap
  • Optional 14" zipper; 7" x 13" piece rigid stabilizer
• Scallop Shell Appique Fabrics: (3) 12" square prints
• Anchor Applique Fabrics
  • 12" square Navy print for Anchor
  • 8" square Cream for Rope
• Compass Star Applique Fabrics:
  • 5" square Blue for Compass Center
