On The Town Elegance Bag Pattern *

The On The Town Elegance Bag pattern by Angel Fire Designs is a classical bag with a small decorated front flap, piping around the edge, double purchased handles, and a magnetic snap closure.  Finished size is approximately 7 1/2 in. x 10 1/2 in. x 4 in.

Materials Needed:

• Outer fabric - 1/2 yd
• Lining fabric - 1/2 yd
• Timtex - 1/2 yd
• Medium weight fusible interfacing - 1 yd
• Light weight fusible interfacing - 1 yd
• Wonder Under or other fusible web - 1/2 yd
• 1 magnetic snap
• 1 button
• Two 6 in. handles with screw-on metal hardware
• 4 purse feet
• Batting - 1 piece, 18 in. x 18 in.
• Optional - thin (1/8 in.) cording for piping - 2 1/8 yds
