Sweet Heart Bag Pattern *

The Sweet Heart Bag pattern by Monica Poole has easy step by step instructions and got it's name from it's shape which is reminiscent of a 1950's sweet heart neckline.  There is an oval base and there are optional instructions for piping on the front pocket.  The 2 sizes are SMALL (13 1/2" x 17") and LARGE (16" x 22").

Materials Needed:

• SMALL: Main fabric - 5/8 yd
• Lining - 3/4 yd
• Medium weight iron on Pellon - 5/8 yd
• Shapewell - 1/2 yd
• LARGE: Main fabric - 1 yd
• Lining - 1 yd
• Medium weight iron on Pellon - 7/8 yd
• Shapewell - 5/8 yd
• Additional Requirements:
• Template plastic
• 1 small or large magnet clip closure
• Optional ROSE: Fabric - 1/8 yd
• String of pearls - 1 3/4 yd
• Ribbon - 1 3/4 yd
• 1 19mm self covered button
