Back In A Snap Drawstring Backpack Pattern

The Back In A Snap is a drawstring backpack pattern that is very easy to make and features a snap pocket made using a carpenter's metal measuring tape.  There are instructions for two sizes included: 12" x 18" and 11" x 16".

Materials Needed:

• Bag outside print - 3/4 yd
• Accent fabric for lining, outside pocket and top encasement - 3/4 yd
• Small print coordinate for bag bottom and pocket casings - 1/4 yd
• Light weight cotton batting - 1 yd
• Fusible interfacing - 1 yd
• Metal retractable carpenters tape - 20"
• Drawstring - 4 yds of cording or 1/2" flat drapery braid
• Cutting instructions are included for a smaller child's size
