The Tulip Bag Pattern *

The Tulip Bag Pattern by Blue Moon River (designer Susan Brubaker Knapp) is a beautiful and practical purse with a large exterior pocket under a front petal and is fat quarter friendly!  Finished size is 14 inches x 14 inches x 6 inches and a Bag-E-Bottom D is recommended for stability.  A pattern for a matching cell phone holder is also included.

Materials Needed:

• Front (main panel) - 1 fat quarter
• Back - 1 fat quarter
• Front petal panels - 2 fat quarters
• Sides - 2 fat quarters
• Straps and lining - 1 yd
• Muslin (will not show) - 1 yd
• Bag-E-Bottom D (optional)
