Fortiny Handbag and Tote Pattern *

The Fortiny Handbag and Tote Pattern by Tina Givens comes in a stylish handbag size for everyday use or a larger tote that can carry any IPad, notebooks, etc.  There are pattern pieces included and the bag and tote have double handles and pleats on the front of the bag.

Materials Needed:

• HANDBAG: Exterior fabric - 1 1/2 yards of 44"W or 1 1/4 yards for 54" wide fabric
• Interior fabric - 1 1/2 yards of 44" wide fabric
• Fusible fleece - 2yards of 20"W or 1 1/4 yards of 44" wide
• Heavy Stabilizer - 1/2 yard of 20" wide
• (4) D Rings (1 1/2")
• (1) magnetic snap
• 4 purse feet
• 20" of 1/2" width cording/welting for inside handles
• TOTE:  Exterior fabric - 1 1/2 yards of 44" or 1 1/4 yards of 54" W
• Interior fabric - 2 yards of 44" wide
• Fusible fleece - 2 1/2 yards of 20" wide or 1 1/2 yards of 44" wide
• Heavy Stabilizer - 1/4 yard of 20" wide
• (1) magnetic snap
• (4) purse feet
• 102" fabric cording in coordinating color OR 1/2" strips of leather (you can use scraps in various lengths) plus 2 pieces of 2 1/2" x 3"
