Izzie Convertible Backpack Pattern

The Izzie Convertible Backpack Pattern by Around the Bobbin includes sewing instructions to create a medium size backpack that can be switched to a cross-body style in seconds. The inside is full of pockets, including an easy zip pocket and lots of slip pockets. Finished size is 12 1/2" H x 9 1/2" W.

Materials needed:

• 1/3 yd fabric - main exterior
• 2/3 yd fabric - flap, lower exterior, top handle, straps and tabs
• 1 yd fabric - interior
• 2 2/3 yds of 20" wide cotton woven fusible interfacing
• 1 1/4 yds of 20" wide sew-in foam stabilizer
• 1/8 yd extra-firm 1-sided fusible stabilizer
• 1/8 yd firm fusible stabilizer
• (3) 1/2" magnetic snap closure sets
• (4) 1" D-Rings
• (2) 1" sliders
• 12" zipper
