The Scrappy Sack Pattern *

The Scrappy Sack Pattern by FishSticks Designs has instructions and pattern pieces to make a patchwork design shoulder bag with a single strap, a button and loop top fastener, and lots of pockets. This handbag pattern is reversible and can be made with patchwork on one side and a solid fabric on the other - your choice. Finished size is 13 1/2 W x 14"H x 4" D and instructions are included to make this bag either cross body or a shoulder bag.

Materials Needed:

STANDARD BAG:

• Bag Lining - 3/4 yard
• 3/4 yard of 3 fabrics plus 1/2 yard of one fabric for bag outer and strap OR
• Use scraps from your stash for the outer bag and strap pieces

REVERSIBLE BAG:

• 3/4 yard of 3 fabrics plus 1/2 yard of one fabric for bag outer
• 3/4 yard of 3 fabrics plus 1/2 yard of one fabric for bag inner and strap, or use scraps  from your stash
• 1 yard of fusible  fleece
• (1) 1 and 1/8" fabric covered button kit (2 buttons for reversible bag)
