Road Trip Case Pattern *

The Road Trip Case Pattern by Anna Graham of Noodlehead includes sewing instructions and pattern templates for creating a portage case with two pocket configurations - great for getting organized! Perfect for handwork, cross stitch, and embroidery project supplies. The two pocket configurations include long pockets that hold a rubber band loom, with an alternate configuration that would be great for kids' artwork supplies or sewing supplies and notions! Finished size: 13 1/2" W x 9" T (18" T when fully opened).

Materials needed:

• fat quarter - main exterior
• fat quarter - main lining
• fat quarter - interior pockets
• fat quarter - interior accents
• fat quarter - cotton canvas (used as stabilizer)
• fat quarter - low-loft cotton batting or fusible fleece (Pellon 987F)
• 14' x 10" 16 guage clear vinyl
• 12" zipper
• 1/4 yd fusible woven interfacing (Pellon SF101)
• 2 yds of 1/2" wide double fold bias tape
• 2.5" piece of 1" wide elastic
• 12" piece of 1/4" wide elastic (for long pocket option)
• 1 button for flap pocket option, (3) for long pocket option
• 3/4" wide hook & loop tape (for flap pocket option only) - 6" cut into (4) 1.5" wide pieces
• (3) elastic hair ties (if not making fabric loops)
