Sidekick Bag Pattern *

The Sidekick Purse Pattern is a great everyday bag with organizational features.  There is a middle zippered compartment, a front storage flap and a special compartment on the back to hold your checkbook.  Finished size is 8 1/2" x 6" x 3".

Materials Needed:

• Exterior fabric - 1/3 yd
• Lining - 3/4 yd
• Contrast Trim - 1/4 yd or less
• Fusible interfacing - 1/4 yd
• Fusible fleece - 1/4 yd
• Peltex stabilizer - one 8" x 5" piece (This is ultrafirm, double-sided fusible stabilizer)
• Notions:
• Extra wide double fold bias tape - 1 1/2 yd
• 1/2" wide nylon webbing - one 36" piece
• Single fold bias tape - one 2" piece
• 2 - 3/4" magnetic snaps
• 1 - 9" nylon zipper
• 1 - 12" separating zipper
