Curvy Bag Pattern *

The Curvy Bag pattern by Virginia Robertson is big enough to carry everyday and has an abstract curved design on the front.  There is a single shoulder strap, a loop and button fastener, and this bag can be made from fat quarters.  Finished size is 12" x 12" x 5".

Materials Needed:

• FRONT of BAG: 1/8 to 1/4 yd cuts of 5 to 7 different fabrics
• BACK of BAG: Interesting fat quarter that coordinates  with front of fabric
• Gusset: 1/4 yd or may be pieced from a fat quarter
• Handle: 1/8 yd
• Lining: 5/8 yd
• Thin, iron-on batting - 5/8 yd
• Large button for the button stack
• Template plastic
• 5/8 yd of muslin for base fabric
