Designer Computer Bag Pattern *

The Designer Computer Bag pattern by Virginia Robertson has 2 bags sizes and a briefcase option, made from Bali fabrics.  The smaller bag holds a 10" x 14" computer and the larger bag holds a 12" x 17" computer.  These bags are made from 2 1/2" fabric strips, have a long shoulder strap, and there are instructions for a unique front flap.

Materials Needed:

• SMALL BAG: Nine or more 2 1/2" x 44" fabric strips for the front and back
• 5/8 yd for the flap, strap, bottom, and ties
• 1 yd for the lining
• 4" x 14" of Fast 2 Fuse interfacing
• 1/8 yd of muslin
• 1 1/2 yd of 22" Pellon heavyweight stabilizer
• 1 1/2 yd of Hobbs iron on cotton batting
• Template plastic
• Glue stick
