The Mother Load Tote Pattern

The Mother Load is a large tote bag pattern that is perfect for the beach, gym, or even as an overnight bag.  Sizes are LARGE (16" x 26") and SMALL (11 1/2" x 19").

Materials Needed:

• Main Print: LARGE - 7/8 yd SMALL-1/2 yd
• Liner, Bottom & Straps: LARGE-1 3/4 yd SMALL-1 1/4 yd
• Fat Quarters: LARGE:10-12 SMALL:8-10
• Peltex interfacing: LARGE-3/8 yd SMALL-1/4 yd
• Heavy Weight Pellon: LARGE-1 5/8 yd SMALL-7/8 yd
• 1" Webbing for Straps: LARGE-1 3/8 yd SMALL-1 1/8 yd
• Batting: 1/8 yd for both large and small
• Large Button: 1 - 1/2" button for closure (both sizes)
• 1/2" to 1 1/8" buttons: LARGE:20-24 buttons  SMALL:18-20 buttons for embellishments
