My Bag of Tricks Purses Pattern *

The "My Bag of Tricks" purses pattern by Cheryl Weiderspahn has instructions for 3 reversible bags that can be worn 4 different ways.  These patterns use metal or bamboo purse handles (with removable rods) and optional shoulder chains.

Materials Needed:

• ROUND PURSE WITH FLAP (top of front cover photo):
• 1/2 yd fabric for face and 1 Fat Quarter for flap (optional)
• 1/2 yd fabric for reverse and1 Fat Quarter for flap (optional)
• 1/4 yd fusible interfacing
• Two 12" pieces of beaded fringe
• Two large buttons to close the flap
• POINTED PURSE WITH POCKET (middle of front photo):
• 1/2 yd fabric for face and 1 Fat Quarter for pocket(s)
• 1/2 yd fabric for reverse and 1 Fat Quarter for pocket(s)
• 12" beaded fringe
• 3" or 4" tassel
• 5" of 1/4" elastic
• LARGE PURSE WITH POCKET ACROSS BOTTOM (bottom of photo):
• 1/2 yd fabric for face and 1 Fat Quarter for pocket(s)
• 1/2 yd fabric for reverse and 1 Fat Quarter for pocket(s)
• One Fat Quarter for contrast bands (optional)
