Market Totes Bag Pattern

Market Totes by Garden Trellis Designs (Janet Pittman) are just what you need to accompany you on those shopping trips! Available in two sizes, these applique totes are quick and easy to complete while being sturdy enough to handle all your shopping needs. Our medium-size Market Tote measures 20 inches x 15 inches & features an applique variety of fruits and vegetables, while the small Market Tote measures 15 inches x 12 inches and features a beautiful applique sunflower. Both have border with flying geese accents and long strap handles.   No full size pattern pieces are included.

• FABRIC FOR MEDIUM TOTE: 1/2 yd white and black print for applique background
• 1/2 yd black for flying geese accent
• 2/3 yd green print for top and bottom bands, bottom and straps
• 3/4 yd coordinating print for lining
• 1 fat eighth each of 4 assorted coordinating prints for flying geese
• APPLIQUE: 9 inch square red print for watermelon
• 9 inch square purple print for eggplant
• 6 inche square red print for strawberries
• 3 inches x 8 inches rectangle lavender print for eggplant highlight
• 6 inches x 10 inches rectangle pale green for watermelon rind
• 3 inch square light green for peas
• 12 inche square green for stems, pods and watermelon rind
• FABRIC FOR SMALL TOTE: 1/4 yd lavender print for apploque background
• 1/4 yd purple print for flying geese accent
• 1 yd multi-colored print for top and bottom bands, bottom, straps, lining and sunflower small center
