The Flapper Bag Pattern

The Flapper Bag pattern by Quilt Woman is designed by Reannalily Designs and features military uniforms repurposed into a fashionable bag.  Finished size is 17" W x 7" H x 4" D and the skill level is intermediate.

Materials Needed:

• 1/4 yd exterior fabric (or fat quarter)
• 1/4 yd lining fabric (or fat quarter)
• 1/2 yd contrast or 1 military uniform shirt (flap, handles, and interior pocket lining)
• 1/2 yd heavy weight Fast 2 Fuse interfacing
• 6" medium weight sew-in interfacing
• 7" plastic non-separating zipper to match lining
• 22" plastic non-separating zipper to match exterior
• Swivel hook for 7/8" strap
• 3 eyelets 1/4" in diameter, and eyelet setting tool
• Turning tool
• 42" length of 3/8" cording

• Clear tape
