Abbey Bag Pattern *

The Abbey Bag Pattern by Abbey Lane Quilts is a convenient pin cushion and scrap bag holder sew into the shape of a flower!  This pattern can be made with charm packs and fat quarters.

Materials:

• 1 Charm Pack OR (8) 5" x 5" pieces for pin cushion and (2) 5" x 5" pieces for bag pocket
• 1 fat quarter for outside of bag and connector
• 1 fat quarter for inside of bag
• 1 fat quarter for top band and flower
• 1/3 yard lining fabric (11" circle)
• 1/3 yard fusible fleece
• 1 1/4" button
• 2 cups filling - crushed walnut shells, emery, or sand (We use crushed walnut shells from the bird department of a pet store)
• Fabric glue
