Melody Bag Pattern *

The Melody Bag pattern is made with a Silk Adaptation fabric package or seven different fabric pieces.  There are options included for either a flat handle or a corded handle and finished size is 9" wide x 9" tall x 4" at the base.

Materials Needed:

• One Silk Adaptation fabric package OR
• Seven 7 1/2" x 10 1/2"  different fabric pieces
• 3/4 yd or 22" wide woven fusible interfacing
• 1/2 yd of 44" wide fabric for lining
• 3/8 yd of 44" wide fusible fleece
• 3/4" wide magnetic snap closure
• 7" zipper
• FOR FLAP HANDLE:  2 yds of 7/8" wide ribbon or trim
• FOR CORDED HANDLE:  2 yds of 1 1/2" wide ribbon or trim
• 1 1/2 yd of 3/8" wide cording
• Masking tape
• Large safety pin
