Kenda Backpack Pattern

The Kenda Backpack pattern has a secure front slip pocket for easy access to your keys, cell phone. etc. and an additional zippered pocket on the back!  There is a drawstring closure and instructions for comfortable shoulder straps.  Finished size is 13 1/2" across x 14" in length.

Materials Needed:

• 1 yard of fabric for bag lining, bag straps and lining for outside pockets
• 1/2 yd for fabric for bag body decorative bands
• 1 yd of fabric for bag body, outside pockets and inside pockets
• 12 - 7/16" grommets (optional - you may substitute button holes)
• 1 - 1 1/2" fabric covered button
• 3/4 yd of lightweight fleece sew in interfacing
• 1 - 12" zipper (you will be trimming this zipper)
• 1 zipper pull
• 1 - 1" section of sew in Velcro
