Too Hip Bag Pattern

The Too Hip Bag pattern by Whistlepig Creek Productions is an across the body bag that is fat quarter friendly (this makes a great cross body bag!), has a convenient outside decorative pocket, and is a great way to use up left over fabric strips from Jelly Rolls or Bali Pops.  Finished size is 10" H x 9 1/2"W x 2"D.  Pattern piece is included for the front pocket.

Materials Needed:

• BOTH BAGS
• Fat quarter - outside pocket and top strip
• Fat quarter - lining
• Fat quarter - inside pockets
• 1/3 yd Fusible fleece such as Pellon 987F
• 1/4 yd fabric or 1 1/2 yd 2-ply twisted cord for handle
• 12" or longer zipper
• 1 yd piping fabric (optional)
• 1/2 yd small cording for piping (optional)
• STRIP VERSION: (8) 2 1/2" width of fabric strips for bag body
• WHOLE CLOTH VERSION: Fat quarter - bag body
