As You Like It Purse Pattern

The As You Like It Purse Pattern by Laura Martell of The Creative Thimble includes sewing instructions for creating purses in three sizes, with interchangeable reversible decorative flaps.  The 3 sizes are SMALL (11 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 3"), MEDIUM (13" x 10" x 3 1/2") and LARGE (16" x 11" x 3 1/2") - the large can hold a laptop.  This pattern has 2 outside zippered pockets, 2 side pockets, and 2 open pockets inside. 2 purse buckles are included with this printed pattern.

Materials Needed SMALL (MEDIUM) [LARGE]:

• 3/4 yd (7/8 yd) [1 yd] Main Fabric
• 1/2 yd (1/2 yd) [3/4 yd] Interfacing
• 1 yd (1 yd) [1-1/4 yds] Contrast Fabric - binding, facing and pockets
• 3/4 yd (3/4 yd) [1 yd] Lining Fabric - lining & pockets
• For each purse
  • 1/4 yd Fabric OR 2-1/4 yds Webbing - Handles
  • Fat Quarters (coordinating fabric) - Decorative Flap
  • (2) 1" rectangle rings or D rings
  • 1" buckle (two included with this pattern)
  • (2) 9" zippers
  • (3) buttons 3/4" - 1 1/4" buttons
  • 1/2 yd of 3/8" wide elastic
  • 3/4" magnetic snap
