Morningsong Handbag Pattern *

The Morningsong Handbag pattern by The Birdhouse Designs is a double handled bag pattern with a decorative top and a circular stitchery pattern on the front.  Finished size is approximately 30cm (12" Square (not including handles).

Materials Needed:

• 20cm (8" blue fabric for outer bag
• 35cm (14") beige polkadot fabric for outer bag
• 20cm (8") red print fabric for bag top
• 20cm (8") brown polkadot fabric for straps and scallop
• 10cm x 15cm (4" x 6") red fabric (flowers)
• 10cm (4") square of mustard colored fabric (flower centers)
• 20cm (8") square od cream homespun
• 35cm (14") lining fabric
• 35cm (14") light weight iron-on Pellon
• 35cm x 50cm (14" x 20") medium weight iron-on interfacing
• DMC stranded embroidery threads: 420 brown, 938 brown, 3830 spice, 3011 green, 3371 very dark brown
• 2 - A3 sheets of template plastic
• Thin cardboard
