Animal House Bag Pattern

The Animal House Bag pattern by Ric raC of Australia is a cute handbag that looks like a house with 3 animals (a cat, a pig, and a monkey) showing in 3 windows.  The finished size of the animals is approximately 9" and the handbag is 9" x 16".  The animal applique templates, the front pocket, the front door, and the roof pattern is included.

Materials Needed:

• ANIMALS: 9" x 16" (23cm x 41cm) of 100% cotton for each animal
• Doll needle
• Hobby fill
• Scraps of felt for  monkey and pig's face
• Six 5/32" (4mm) buttons for joints
• 3 buttons for belly buttons
• DMC thread in black
• BAG HOUSE: 20" (50cm) linen approximately 44" wide (110cm)
• 20" (50cm) lining fabric approximately 44" wide (110cm)
• 20" (50cm) Vilene H640 (fusible wadding)
• 18" x 8" (46cm x 20cm) roof fabric
• 8" (20cm) bias binding
• Scraps of vliesofix (wunder-under) for applique
• Scraps of heavy weight fusible interfacing
• DMC thread to embroider house number
• Scraps of fabric for applique (door, letter box, house number)
• One button for door handle
• Sew in magnetic closure
