Breezy Weave Bags Pattern

The Breezy Weave Bags Pattern by Aunties Two is made by weaving fabric strips that are filled with stiff interfacing for a truly unique handbag!  Bali Pops work perfectly and two sizes are included:  The LARGE bag measures 9 1/2" H x 13" W x 5 1/2" D when finished and the SMALL is 7 1/2" H x 91/2" W x 5 1/2" D.

Materials Needed:  Woven strips are 2 1/2" cut the full width of the fabric (44")

• SMALL BAG:  Vertical - 1/2 yard or five strips 2 1/2" by width of fabric
• Horizontal - 1/2 yard or six strips 2 1/2" x WOF
• LARGE BAG:  Vertical - 1 yard or fourteen strips 2 1/2" x WOF
• Horizontal - 1 yard or thirteen strips 2 1/2" x WOF
• For the bindings, handles, gusset and pockets - 1 yard
• Stiff Interfacing: Rigid Weave by Innovative Craft Products (or other stiff interfacing of your choice) - 1 1/4 yard
• Fusible Batting for pockets and gussets - 1/2 yard per bag
• 1/4" Cotton Upholstery Piping for handles - 5 yards per bag
• One magnetic closure per bag
