Twin Pocket Tango Bag Pattern

The Twin Pocket Tango Bag Pattern has 2 unique curved pockets on the front, double handles, straight and kangaroo pockets inside, and easy instructions for a top zipper (or not!).  Finished size is 16 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 4" and there are templates included for the bag bottom and the curved pockets.

Materials Needed:

• Main fabric (Large floral) - 1/2 yard
• Coordinating fabric (Leopard print) - 1 yard
• Accent fabric (Small floral) - 2/3 yard
• Optional pre-packaged Maxi piping - 1 or 2 packages (2 1/2 yards)
• Accent lining (top inside bag) - 1/4 yard
• Optional zipper flaps - 1/4 yard
• Optional zipper flaps - 1/4 yard
• Main lining & inside pockets - 1 1/2 yard
• Woven 100% cotton fusible interfacing (23" wide) - 1 1/2 yard (add 1/4 yard if inserting zipper)
• Pellon #809 Decor Bond fusible interfacing - 3/4 yard
• Steam-a-Seam fusible web (original -12" wide) - 2/3 yard
• 1/8" Braided nylon rope for handles (Hardware store) - 52 inches
• 1" curtain grommets OR bag handle rings - 4
• Optional zipper - polyester coil sweater/jacket zipper 18" or longer, closed or separating
