Miranda Mailbag Pattern

The Miranda Mailbag pattern has complete instructions for a bag in 4 sizes an is fat quarter friendly.  There is a zippered closure and sizes are 10" x 5" x 4" (Small bag), 13" x 6 1/2" x 5" (Large handbag), 13" x 9" x 5" (Small tote), and 15" x 10 1/2" x 6" (Large tote).

Materials Needed:

• SMALL HANDBAG: vertical strips - 5 fat quarters
• Horizontal strips - 3 fat quarters
• Handles & zipper tabs - 1 fat quarter
• Lining and pockets - 1 fat quarter
• Buckram - (20" wide) 1/2 yd
• Fusible Interfacing - (22" wide) 1 1/8 yd
• Fusible fleece - 1/3 yd
• Zipper - 12"
• LARGE HANDBAG: vertical strips - 5 fat quarters
• Horizontal strips - 3 fat quarters
• Handles & zipper tabs - 2 fat quarters or 1/3 yd
• Buckram - 3/4 yd
• Fusible interfacing - 1 1/3 yd
• Fusible fleece - 1/2 yd
• Zipper - 12"
• SMALL TOTE: 6 vertical strips, lining, & interior pockets - 1 yd
• 4 vertical strips, handles, exterior pockets & zipper taps - 3/4 yd
