Town and Country Bags Pattern

The Town & Country Pattern by Artful Offerings contains 2 variations for a tote bag pattern and also a clutch pattern with 2 different decorative tops!  Finished size for the Town Clutch is 7 1/2"H x 12 1/2"W x 1/2"D and the completed size for the Country Tote is 15 1/2"H x 15"W (at the bottom) and 21" (at the top) x 6"D.  Also included is a template for the clutch decorative top and for the horse on the tote bag.

Materials Needed:

• TOWN CLUTCH:  1 fat quarter - medium color print (front, back)
• 1 fat quarter - dark color print (lining)
• 1 fat quarter - ivory tonal print (hand strap)
• COUNTRY TOTE  3/4 yard - gray tonal print (handles, bands)
• 3/8 yard - cream tonal print (front, back)
• 1 fat eighth -  black (horse silhouette)
• 1 fat eighth - polka dot print (exterior pocket)
• 1 1/4 yards - 44" wide cotton ticking (lining)
• BATTING, INTERFACING, & NOTIONS:
• 1 yard - 45" wide cotton batting (clutch and tote)
• 1/4 yard - Pellon 809 fusible interfacing (clutch)
• 1/4 yard - size 1 1/2" double sided sating ribbon OR one size 3/4" button (clutch-bow tie)
• Assorted pearls, beads, or sequins (clutch - optional collar embellishment)
• 1 size 12" zipper (clutch) - easy zipper installation!
• (7) - size 1/4" buttons OR beads (tote - horse's main)
• (4) size 1 1/2" antique brass rings (tote - ring loops)
• (4) size large (1 1/2"W x 2 1/2"L) antique brass dog lease clasps (tote-handles)
• 1/2 yard - size 1"W grosgrain ribbon (tote-handles)
