Lola Gypsy Bag Pattern *

The Lola Gypsy Bag Pattern by Serendipity Studio is a unique purse pattern with double handles, ruffles (or not - your choice!), and options for making your bag with pre-cut 5" squares.  The finishing touch on this bag pattern is a flowing scarf that can be tied on your bag.  Finished size is 14"W x 12"H x 4"D.

Materials Needed:

• Main bag (includes side piece) - 1/2 yard or 31 - 5" squares
• Exterior side (only if contrast is desired) - 1/6 yard
• Lining (includes pockets) - 3/4 yard
• Handles - 1/4 yard
• Ruffles (cotton voile recommended) - (Yardage is for 2 different fabrics for contrasting ruffles.  If a different fabric is desired for each ruffle, halve each yardage for a total of 4 fabrics) - One fabric 1 1/4 yards OR
• Upper ruffle - 1/2 yard, Lower ruffle - 2/3 yard
• Scarf - 1/3 yard
• Roc-lon Multipurpose Cloth (36" wide) - 5/8 yard
• Pellon 911FF lightweight fusible interfacing - 1 1/2 yards
• Pellon TP971F Thermolam Plus fusible fleece - 1/8 yard
• Pellon 71F Peltex one-sided fusible, 20" wide - 1/8 yard
• 12" zipper
• (1) 3/4" magnetic snap
• Temporary adhesive spray
