Northern Lights Trio Tote Pattern

The Northern Lights Trio Tote Pattern by Poorhouse Quilt Designs is a tote bag that has instructions for moonlit silhouettes including a moose, a deer, and a bear!  There are double handles, easy to follow instructions for flying geese, and a  finished size of 12"H x 14"W x 4"D.  Templates for animals are included.

Materials Needed:

• 1/2 yard for Main background
• 1/2 yard for Tote bottom
• 1/2 yard accent strip and lining
• FOR APPLIQUES: (This can be wool, flannel, or quilting cotton)
• 8" square for animal (moose, deer or bear)
• 5" x 8 1/2" green for tree
• 2" square for moon
• Duo Double Sided Fusible Fleece 45" x 36" CRAFT-PACK by Innovative Craft Products or 1 yard fusible  fleece
• 1/4 yard Fusible Web for machine applique
• (1) zipper - 12" (minimum) All Purpose, polyester
• Fabric glue for paper piecing
