Carry On! Travel Bag Pattern

The Carry On! Travel Bag Pattern has lots of useful features such as side grab handles, a padding for the over the shoulder handle, and lots of pocket inside and out.  This pattern makes a  travel bag that is compliant with airlines!

Finished size is 18 1/2"L x 13 3/4"H x 8"D and this bag has a secure zippered top.

Materials Needed:

• Main fabric (body of bag, pockets, carrying strap pad) - 1 1/2 yards
• Lining fabric (lining of bag) - 1 1/2 yards
• Coordinating fabric (Inner pocket, stabilizer cover, bindings, carry strap, handle, zipper pulls) - 1 1/2 yards
• ByAnnie's Soft & Stable - 1 1/4 yards
• 1" strapping - 4 yards
• Zippers to match fabric (Heavy duty handbag zippers recommended and a double slide zipper for the top is great!) - One 10" (or longer), one 20" (or longer) and one 30" double slide zipper
• 1" D-Rings - 2
• 1" Strap Adjuster or Slider - 1
• 1" Swivel Hooks - 2
• Fusible interfacing (SF101 recommended) - 10" x 20"
• Heavy foam cord (or cardboard) - 8" x 15"
