Oh Sew Mod Bag Pattern

The Oh Sew Mod Pattern by WhistlePig Creek Productions has instructions for 2 styles and 2 sizes of tote bag patterns!  One pattern has the techniques to create chevron bags in eight a messenger bag style or tote and the other technique is for a unique houndstooth pattern.  The tote bag has double handles and the messenger bag has a single shoulder strap.  Sizes are 12.5" x 12.5" x 2.5" for the messenger bag and 15" x 12.5" x 5.5" for the tote bag.  Paper template piece for the houndstooth and the chevron are included.

Materials Needed:

• MESSENGER BAG PATTERN:
• 1 1/4 yards Fabric #1 (includes strap)
• 3/4 yard Fabric #2
• 1 yard lining
• 1 yard fusible fleece such as Pellon 987F
• 1 1/2 yards woven fusible interfacing such as Pellon Shapeflex 101
• Large decorative buttons
• (1) 3/4" (18mm) magnetic sanp
• (2) 1 1/4" D-ring or O-ring
• (1) 1 1/4" strap slide for adjusting strap length (not needed if you want to make your strap a fixed length
• Strip tube ruler or template plastic
• TOTE:
• 1 1/2 yards Fabric #1 (darker) (Includes straps)
• 3/4 yard Fabric #2 (lighter)
• 1 yard lining
• 1 1/2 yards fusible fleece such as Pellon 987F
• Strip tube ruler or template plastic
• Large decorative button
• (2) 3/4" (18mm) magnetic snap
• Rotary cutter and mat recommended
