Solveig Bicycle Bag Pattern by Hemma Design *

The Solveig Bicycle Bag Pattern by Hemma Design is a messenger style back of the seat bicycle bag that can be made out of oilcloth or laminated fabric. It attaches easily to your bicycle seat or handlebars- your choice!  Instructions include how to make a strap to turn this bicycle bag pattern into a handbag.  Finished size is 7 1/4" x 5" x 1 3/4" and there is a pattern included for a 3D flower for the front of your bag!

Materials Needed: Yardage give is for 47" wide oilcloth or 42" wide laminated fabric

• BAG:
• Oilcloth or laminated fabric - 1/3 yard
• Contrast flower petal A -  4 1/2" x 11"oilcloth
• Contrast flower petal B - 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" oilcloth
• Contrast flower petal C and center - 6" x 6" oilcloth
• Lining and trim - 1/2 yard of 44" wide fabric
• Extra firm craft stabilizer - 1/4 yard
• (4) 1" D-rings
• (1) 7" zipper
• 3/4" hook & loop tape - 1 and 1/2"
• Handbag Strap: 1" webbing - 1 and 1/2 yards
• (4) 1" D-rings
• TOOLS:
• Fabric glue - clear, tacky & quick dry
• Removable double-sided tape
• Clothespins
• Pencil & ruler
