European Bag Pattern

The European Tote Pattern by Aunties Two is a classic handbag with two outside pockets secured with magnetic snaps and a flap top closure. There are 2 additional pockets inside and the finished size is 16"W x 13"H x 6"D.

Materials Needed: Fabric - good quality cotton fabric.

• Bag body - 1 yard
• Bag lining - 3/4 yard
• Outside pockets - 11 strips 2 1/2" x 13" (or use leftover fabric)
• Outside pocket lining - 1/2 yard
• Inside pockets - 1/2 yard
• Handles and pocket binding - 3/4 yard
• Single sided fusible foam based interfacing - Bosal's In-R-Form #495S
• Bag body and pockets of the above - 1 yard 58" wide
• 3 magnetic sew in Buttons by Bohin
• 1 large, 3 medium and 2 small decorative buttons
