Stitched Top Tote Pattern

The Stitched Top Tote Pattern by Indygo Junction gives complete instructions to make a roomy tote with your own decorative stitches across the top! Inside the tote there are directions for a zippered pocket and a tethered coin purse, complete with card slots for your convenience. Finished size is approximately 15"W  x 16"H.

Materials Needed:

• 1 yard of 45" OR 3/4" yard at 54" fabric for outside of tote and coin purse, straps, and tether
• 7/8 yard of 45" fabric  for tote lining, inside tote pocket, coin purse lining and card slot pocket
• Two  1/2 yards of 20" wide fusible interfacing if using quilt weight cotton for outside of bag OR
• One 3/4" yard of 20" wide fusible interfacing if using heavier weight fabric such as lightweight denim
• 1/4 yard of fusible fleece for straps OR
• 3/4 yard fusible fleece for straps and outside bag if using quilt weight cotton
• At least a 6" zipper for coin purse
• At least a 12" zipper for inside tote pocket
• Magnetic Sew-on Snap
• 2 swivel at 1 and 1/2" x 1/2" lobster clasps for coin purse tether
• Fine line chalk marking tool
