The Mod Girl Purse Pattern

The Mod Girl Purse Pattern by Charmaine McLaughlin of Pom Poms and Polka Dots has lots of storage inside and out with 2 pockets on the front and 2 smaller pockets on the side. The shoulder strap is wide enough to provide comfortable carrying. Finished size is approximately 14" W x 11" H x 6" Deep (not including handles).

Materials Needed

• Main Print Fabric #1 - 1 yard
• Coordinating Print Fabric #2 - 1/2 yard
• Lining Fabric #3 - 1/2 yard
• Pellon Fusible Fleece 987F - 1.5 yards
• Magnetic Snap - 1 set
• Buttons - 2 medium sized buttons for sides of bag and 1 large decorative button for flap
• Heavy matte board or plastic canvas for bottom base
• Timtex - 1/3 yard or DecorBond (Stiff interfacing)
• Hot glue gun
• Chalk-O-Liner
