Zippers Galore Messenger Bag Pattern

The Zippers Galore Messenger Bag Pattern by Wives of Whitewood (W.O.W.) includes sewing instructions for creating an oversized messenger bag with unique grommeted double-strap bag with multiple inner and outer pockets, an optional snap closure, card holder, and keychain clip. Optional center padded divider panel offers great protection for a tablet or laptop.  Finished size is 15" W x 18" T x 5" D.

Materials needed:

• 1 5/8 yd fabric A - outer bag and straps
• 1 1/8 yd fabric B - lining, pocket linings, and board cover
• 3/8 yd fabric C - inside pocket (optional)
• 3/8 yd fabric C - zipper bocket with card holder (optional)
• 3/8 yd fabric B or C - second inner zipper pocket OR leftover lining fabric (optional)
• 3/4 yd fabric A or C - divider panel (optional)
• 1 1/2 yd Pellon Fusible Fleece 987F
• 3/8 yd Pellon Craft Fuse Interfacing 808 (optional)
• Two 14" zippers
• 9" zipper (optional)
• 7" zipper (optional)
• Keychain Clip (optional)
• Magnetic Snap or small scrap of interacing (optional)
• Two 1 3/8" inside diameter grommets
• Two 1 1/2" Adjustable strap buckle (optional)
