Birdie Inn Bag Pattern *

The Birdie Inn Bag Pattern by Lynette Anderson Designs includes instructons and pattern templates for creating a gorgeous 1/2" hexagon covered bag with a sweet garden scene stitchery pocket on the front. Finished size: 16" x 12".

Materials needed:

• 8" square cream yarn dye (pocket)
• 1/2 yd tan yarn dye fabric (bag outer and pocket top)
• Various small square/rectangular colored prints for appliques
• (200) Laser cut 1/2" (finished) assorted yarn dye fabric hexagons
• 1/2 yd light print fabric (pocket and bag lining)
• Embroidery Floss (various colors)
• Handpainted Miss Brown Bird button
• (200) Pre-cut 1/2" paper or water soluble hexagons
• 16" x 6 1/2" fusible lightweight batting (inner and outer pockets)
• (2) 12 3/4" x 16" rectangles of batting (bag)
• Template plastic
• Fine tipped fabric marking pen
