The Lucy Hobo Bag Pattern

The Lucy hobo is soft and slouchy, and great for carrying every day. The side has a small pocket perfect for keeping your phone in easy reach. The inside has a small slip pocket to keep everything from falling all the way to the bottom and a zipper pocket to keep important belongings secure. Finished size: 12" T x 14" W x 4" D with 12" drop.

Materials needed:

• For Patchwork front and back panels:
  • 1/8 yd or fat eighth (fabric A & B)
  • 1/4 yd or fat quarter (fabric C)
• 1/2 yd small print fabric (fabric D - patchwork body/strap/binding/button)
• 1/2 yd solid or tonal fabric (fabric E - patchwork body/sides/side pocket)
• 3/4 yd lining fabric
• 1/2 yd prewashed cotton flannel
• 1 1/4 yds fusible interfacing
• 7" of 1/4" elastic
• size 45 - 1 1/8" Half Ball Cover Button
• 7" zipper & zipper foot
