Gracie Handbag Pattern

The Gracie Handbag pattern is an elegant handbag that has 6 inside pockets and a flap closure fastened with Velcro. This pattern is not appropriate for directional print fabrics. Finished size is 15" W x 10"H.  The Bag-E-Bottom A is now available to insert into the bottom of your finished bag for more stability!

Materials Needed:

• Cover Fabrics: Select 2 different fabrics - Outer Panels and Handles - 7/8 yd: Center Panel - 1/4 yd
• Bag Lining: 2/3 yd
• Inside Pocket: 1/2 yd
• Flap Closure: One cut piece 3 1/2" x 11 1/2".  You should have enough leftover fabric from the bag lining OR you can select additional fabric.
• Batting: Use low loft batting that can be quilted up to 8" apart. One piece about 20" x 30" AND one piece 4" x 7"
• Optional: Bag-E-Bottom A or plastic canvas 4" x 11".
