Streak of Lightning Tote Pattern

The Streak of Lightning Tote Pattern by Susan Pfau of Sweet Jane's Quilting & Design includes sewing instructions for creating a tote that is really fun to put together. Strip piecing is used, perfect for jelly rolls and scraps. This bag is fully lined and has one large pocket and one small cell phone pocket. Finished size: 15" H x 19" W x 6 1/2" D.

Materials needed:

• (12) 2 1/2" wide Jelly Roll Strips OR (6) 1/4 yd cuts of fabric
• 1 1/3 yds of fabrci for the accent strips, bottom, straps and lining
• 1 1/8 yds of decor or medium weight fusible interfacing (Pellon #809)
• 26" x 44" piece of low loft cotton or cotton mix batting
