You Can Take It With You Tote Bag Pattern *

  Use this pattern as a diaper bag, laptop carrier, travel tote, or exercise bag.  The pattern has 6 large exterior pockets, 1 exterior zippered pocket, a zippered top opening, interior key ring holder and a multifunction handle system.  Finished size is 18" x 10 1/2" x 5 1/2".

Materials Needed:

• 1 1/4 yd fabric for outside tote & handles
• 1 2/3 yd fabric for inside tote, back zippered pocket, zippered top, interior  partitions, and elasticized pockets
• 1 1/4 yd heavyweight interfacing
• 1 1/4 yd fleece or batting
• 1 - 7" zipper for back zippered pocket
• 1 - 18" zipper for top
• 2 - "D" rings (1 1/2") for handles
• 3 - swivel hooks (2 for handles and 1 for key holder
• 1/2 yd 1/4" elastic for interior elasticized pockets
