Willow Pouch Pattern

The Willow Pouch Pattern by Susan Pfau of Sweet Jane's Quilting & Design includes sewing instructions for fun to make "jelly roll race" style pouches in two sizes. Mini charm packs are easier and more convenient to use, but I prefer using a charm pack (cut them into 2-1/2" squares) because you can make multiple pouches with one charm pack! Finished sizes: Small - 4" H x 6" W x 2" D, Large - 6" H x 9" W x 3" D.

Materials needed for Small [Large] pouch:

• Mini charm pack: (20) [34] squares 2-1/2"
• Fat eighth for bottom of pouch (each)
• Fat eighth for lining (each)
• 7" [12"] polyester YKK zipper
• 6" x 13" [9" x 21"] scrap of batting or fusible fleece
• 6" x 13" [9" x 21"] medium decor weight fusible interfacing (Pellon 809)
