The Organized Traveler Bag Pattern

The Organized Traveler Bag Pattern by Lisa Amundson of Around the Bobbin includes sewing instructions for creating a travel bag featuring two coordinating fabrics and a large zip pocket on the outside; the inside is full of pockets—a large pocket for a tablet or small computer, organizational pockets, pen pockets, a key leash and a water bottle holder. With over a dozen pockets, handles and a shoulder strap, it makes traveling easy. The organized traveler bag will fit under an airplane seat or fit nicely at your feet in a car. Intermediate level. • 2/3 yd Fabric B - lower exterior
• 1-1/4 yds Fabric C - interior
• 1/2 yd Fabric D - handles, shoulder strap & tabs (optional)
• 4 yds of 20" wide woven fusible interfacing
• 1/2 yd of fusible fleece or fusible foam stabilizer
• 7" x 18" heavy fusible stabilizer
• 3 yds of 1-1/2" wiede cotton webbing for handles, shoulder strap & strap tabs
• 14" x 18" lightweight mesh
• 1 yd fold-over elastic
• 14" zipper
• 24" zipper
• (2) 1-1/2" triangle rings
• (2) 1-1/2" swivel snap hooks
• 1-1/2" slider
• 1/2" swivel snap hook for key leash
