Tuesday's Totes Pattern

The Tuesday's Totes Pattern by Suzanne Wenzlick of Suzanne's Art House includes sewing instructions for creating a professional looking tote, with four tote bag styles and 2 different size handles to choose from. The easiest tote is a 2-fabric front and back panel. There are 3 more totes with 3 different pieced exteriors to choose from, ranging from an easy block to more advanced mini blocks. The inside of the totes has a zippered pocket and a slip pocket with a magnetic snap closure. All seams are enclosed so there are no raw edges. These totes are great for carrying your sewing projects or as a custom quilted purse. Finished size: 11-1/2" H x 15-1/2" W x 3-3/4" D.

Materials needed for each bag:

• Fat quarter - exterior top, bottom & handles
• 1/2 yd small print quilting cotton - lining & pockets
• jelly roll or charm pack  (tote with pieced block)
• (80 - 60) 2-1/2" squares or (60) 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" rectangles (tote dependent)
• 3/8 yd fabic (totes with mini blocks)
• 3/8 yd fabric (single fabric tote)
• 1/2 yd fusible fleece Pellon 987F - outside of tote
• 1-1/8 yd Pellon SF101 - inside lining and pocket
• 9" nylon zipper for each pocket
• (4) 3/8" metal button to sew over your handles
• 18mm magnetic snap closure
• 1-1/2" D-ring
