My Coloring Purse Pattern

My Coloring Purse by Clothesline Quilts is the pattern for moms/grandmas to sew up quickly for their daughters/granddaughters to carry their markers and coloring supplies in style. This little purse sports slots for fat crayons and markers on the outside, a roomy inside for books and paper, and a back pocket and button closure. It can be made with a short handle or a long one to go over the shoulder. The finished size is 7 inches by 10 inches plus handles. This pattern comes with instructions, but does not include pattern pieces.

Materials Needed:

• 1/2 yd of 2 coordinating fabrics for front, back, crayon holder, back pocket and handles of purse
• Fat Quarter for bias binding trim
• 1/2 yd of flat cotton batting
• 3 matching buttons
• 8 large crayons or markers
• Coloring books, paper, and pencils
